Jonathan Taylor Will Play From Day 1
5 years agoIndianapolis Colts rookie running back Jonathan Taylor was drafted at No. 41 overall and will play a lot in his rookie season alongside Marlon Mack, especially with the historic college resume that comes with him. It's possible that Taylor and Mack could switch off series, with one of them working the first- and second-down roles. Indianapolis averaged 29 carries per game in 2019, so Taylor could get as many as 15 carries per game, with Mack getting around 12 and Nyheim Hines or Roosevelt Nix getting around two. Not only is Taylor in an offense that could make serious noise in 2020, but he'll be running behind one of the best offensive lines in the league. The upside in Year 1 is palpable, and he may be the most attractive rookie running back in fantasy.
