3 years agoNew Jersey Devils goaltender Jonathan Bernier (hip) has been placed on Injured Reserve, and the veteran appears to be set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Bernier has already missed time with a hip injury this season and the news is very worrying, with Devils head coach Lindy Ruff saying that he's "worried and concerned" for the long-term health of Bernier. The 33-year-old had a great start to the campaign, winning all first three of his starts, but only one more victory has followed. Mackenzie Blackwood makes another start for the team on Friday against Nashville, heading into the matchup with a 5-3-3 record.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
