6 years agoThe Chicago Cubs haven't listed a starter for Thursday against the Dodgers at home, but starting pitcher Jon Lester (hamstring) could be an option after he threw a successful simulated game over the weekend. You should expect Lester to return from the injured list to start on Thursday as long as his bullpen session goes well this week. The veteran left-hander has a 2.57 ERA, 1.36 WHIP and 14 strikeouts in 14 innings over his three starts to begin the year. While the Dodgers would prevent a tough matchup, their weakness is southpaws. Lester will be a little more risky than normal if he returns on Thursday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
