6 years agoThe Chicago White Sox placed outfielder Jon Jay (hip) on the 10-day injured list on Tuesday. The veteran outfielder had missed seven days with a right hip strain before he returned to action last Sunday. Outfielder Ryan Cordell will make the Opening Day roster as a result and serve as outfield depth. Jay provides very mediocre numbers across the board when he's healthy and should only be used as depth in AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
