2 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Jon Berti is not in the team's starting lineup on Tuesday against the Washington Nationals. Berti is more of a utility infielder for the Fish now that Joey Wendle is back from the injured list. The 33-year-old is hitting a decent .271 (32-for-118) with five doubles, two home runs, eight RBI, six stolen bases and 16 runs scored in 130 plate appearances and 37 games. He had a league-high 41 steals last year and remains useful for his speed in deeper leagues, but the ceiling is much lower if he's not playing every day for Miami. Wendle is manning the 6 and is hitting in the nine-hole for the Marlins on Tuesday against Nationals right-hander Josiah Gray.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
