Joey Gallo, Brett Martin Feeling Good
4 years agoTexas Rangers general manager Jon Daniels said that both outfielder Joey Gallo and pitcher Brett Martin are feeling good and are essentially asymptomatic of COVID-19. However, neither player has been cleared to return to the field and must return two negative tests in order to do so. It was reported that Gallo tested negative at a private lab in Dallas on Tuesday, but he'll need to do so again to return to summer camp workouts. It sounds as though both players could be good to go soon, though, which is good news for those targeting Gallo as an elite power hitter. Gallo only played in 70 games in 2019 and still managed 22 home runs, 54 runs scored and 49 RBI.
