1 year agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (hip) is expected to play on Saturday against OKC. Embiid has battled left hip soreness for the last week or so, although it finally kept him out for Wednesday's meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Marcus Morris Sr. ended up starting that one, with the veteran finishing with 16 points, four boards, two blocks, and one steal in only 16 minutes of work. But with Embiid's anticipated return, Morris likely won't have a similar showing. Nonetheless, the hip issue that Embiid has dealt with recently likely isn't going away anytime soon, so fantasy managers should expect to see his name on the injury report moving ahead.
