Joe Ross To Be Activated Tuesday
6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Joe Ross (elbow) will be activated from the disabled list on Tuesday and could start a game soon, according to manager Dave Martinez. The younger brother of Tyson Ross, Joe hasn't pitched in the majors all year. The right-hander went 5-3 with a 5.01 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 8.3 K/9 in 13 starts in 2017. He has swing-and-miss stuff when he's right and could be useful in deeper formats if he joins the rotation to close out the year.
