Joe Mixon Feels Great After Surgery
6 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (knee) said he feels "great" and is walking after having arthroscopic knee surgery four days ago. He's expected to be out two to four weeks and is now going through the recovery process. "Just me going out there being comfortable cutting and running around to my comfortability," Mixon told reporters. "I'm sure whenever the time is, that's when you all will catch me out there." Head coach Marvin Lewis expects Giovani Bernard and rookie Mark Walton to "shoulder the load for the next few weeks" in the backfield. For now, Bernard should be seen as an RB3/flex option, while Walton doesn't have any standalone value. Continue to stash Mixon everywhere.
