Joe Burrow Giving His Input On Playbook
5 years agoCincinnati Bengals second-year head coach Zac Taylor is soliciting rookie quarterback Joe Burrow's input on the playbook. Taylor said he's getting more comfortable in his role and feels better prepared to handle all of his responsibilities, which could make him a more confident and composed play-caller in 2020. That starts with building better game plans for the No. 1 overall pick. "I think the direction that they're heading is going to fit me even more. They're going to do things that I'm comfortable with, and that's a great sign," Burrow told the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. With a solid running game led by Joe Mixon and receivers A.J. Green, Tyler Boyd and rookie Tee Higgins, Burrow has more than enough to make strides in the NFL sooner than later.
