Jo Adell Out 10-12 Weeks
6 years agoLos Angeles Angels outfield prospect Jo Adell, the team's top prospect and No. 14 in baseball, will be out 10 to 12 weeks after an MRI confirmed a Grade 2 right ankle sprain and a Grade 1 left hamstring strain. He suffered the injuries while running the bases in a game last Saturday. He will be on crutches for the near future. The 19-year-old was hitting .391 with three RBI in 11 spring games before the injury. Adell was likely to start at Double-A Mobile but is expected to stay in Arizona to rehab until he's healthy. He hit .290/.355/.543 with 20 home runs, 32 doubles, 15 stolen bases and 77 RBI in 99 games at three different minor league levels in 2018.
