Jimmy Nelson To Be Full Go In Spring Training
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) said he will be full go in spring training. "Absolutely. But not just opening-day roster. One of my goals is to start opening day. I'm not going to beat around the bush," Nelson said. The right-hander missed all of 2018 due to his injury, but he went 12-6 with a 3.49 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and career-high 10.2 K/9 in 29 starts in 2017 and could bounce back as one of the team's better starters if he stays healthy. That makes him worth a flier late in deep mixed leagues.
