Jimmy Nelson Throws Simulated Game
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jimmy Nelson (shoulder) threw 31 pitches in a two-inning simulated game on Thursday in camp, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out one and walking one with his fastball sitting in the low-90s. Nelson didn't have any issues with his arm and said he felt good. The right-hander who missed all of last year is hoping to make his Cactus League debut soon. If healthy, Nelson should have a place in Milwaukee's rotation after his fine 2017 season, making him worth a flier in deep mixed leagues in the last few rounds.
