6 years agoAn MRI exam on Monday confirmed that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (knee) has a torn ACL, according to a source. He will miss the rest of the 2018 season. It's a really big blow to a team that lost running back Jerick McKinnon to the same injury before the season even started. Garoppolo can now be safely dumped in single-year formats. In his place, C.J. Beathard will take over under center. As a result, you'll need to downgrade any San Fran pass-catchers in fantasy.
