Jimmy Butler Returns With A 30-Point Triple-Double
3 years agoMiami Heat small forward Jimmy Butler ended a three-game absence with a fantastic performance on Wednesday, notching a game-high 31 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists in a 113-98 win over New Orleans. He shot 10-for-18 from the field and 10-for-12 at the line in 37 minutes of action, adding one block to his tally with three turnovers. The Heat were without Bam Adebayo (bruised left knee) and Kyle Lowry (rest) here, which gave Butler a chance to completely run things on his own. He's among the league's most versatile players and typically even fills up the box score on a bad night. Miami finishes the week with back-to-back games against a much-improved Wizards team that sits fifth in defensive efficiency.
