Ji-Man Choi Cleared Of Concussion
6 years agoUpdating a previous report, Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Ji-Man Choi (head) was cleared of a concussion but is still in the protocol and is being monitored. Choi left the game early after a collision at home plate with Yankees backstop Gary Sanchez. He also needed stitches on his ear. It sounds like Choi avoided a serious injury, but the left-handed slugger will likely miss at least a day or two.
