Jhoulys Chacin On The Mound For Game 7 Of NLCS
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Jhoulys Chacin will start Game 7 of the National League Championship Series on Saturday against the Dodgers. Chacin doesn't have electric stuff, but he has the experience and often keeps opposing lineups off balance. He was the team's most consistent starter throughout the year, going 15-8 with a 3.50 ERA and 156 strikeouts. He's been awesome in the playoffs, too, throwing 10 1/3 scoreless innings in the Division Series and Game 3 of the NLCS combined. He has a 2.28 ERA dating back to Aug. 8. Chacin has been great, but it doesn't mean he's untouchable, although the Dodgers bats have been rather quiet for most of the NLCS. He'll probably be the more popular DFS pick over Dodgers starter Walker Buehler, who has struggled in the postseason.
