Jets Won't Go All Out For Le'Veon Bell
6 years agoThe New York Jets will not break the bank this offseason in order to sign running back Le'Veon Bell, according to sources. There is some level of concern in the organization about Bell's motivation if he lands a big payday, which is expected. The Jets are one of the best-positioned teams to make a run at Bell with around $100 million in salary cap space. Bell reportedly turned down the Steelers five-year, $70 million offer last summer that included $33 million in guarantees. The Colts, Jets, Buccaneers, Eagles, Raiders and Dolphins might also be fits for Bell. Despite sitting out all of 2018 to avoid the franchise tag, Bell remains one of the best all-around running backs. His fantasy value will be decided when he picks a team, but there's a good chance he'll come off the board in the first round, especially in PPR leagues.
