6 years agoThe New York Jets are signing free-agent running back Ty Montgomery to an undisclosed one-year deal on Thursday, according to a source. He's expected to be Le'Veon Bell's primary backup, although Gang Green has options with Trenton Cannon and Elijah McGuire, who can also both catch the football. Montgomery had 41 carries for 188 yards rushing and one touchdown in 13 games between the Packers and Ravens last year and also caught 25 passes for 40 yards for both teams. He's likely to only have fantasy value in 2019 if Bell gets injured.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
