Jets Haven't Had Trade Talks Involving Jamal Adams
5 years agoNew York Jets safety Jamal Adams being traded to the Dallas Cowboys is just a rumor right now, and there haven't been any talks on that front, according to a source close to the situation. The All-Pro safety is underpaid at this point and wants a new long-term deal that could make him one of the highest paid safeties in the game, but the Jets are taking their time and could have him under team control through the 2022 season. General manager Joe Douglas continues to say he wants to keep Adams for the long haul, but a trade during the draft shouldn't be ruled out. Dallas has a big need to replenish the safety position after losing Byron Jones in free agency this year.
