5 years agoThe New York Jets had dinner last month with Georgia offensive tackle Andrew Thomas and put him through a private workout the next morning, according to a source. The Jets also had dinner and a workout with Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, hosted Louisville offensive tackle Mekhi Becton and video chatted with Iowa's Tristan Wirfs. Those are the consensus top four offensive linemen in this year's draft, and the Jets may be in a place to take one of them at No. 11 if one or more of them make it out of the top 10. Adding aerial weapons and improving the offensive line to help protect quarterback Sam Darnold are the top two priorities for Gang Green in this draft.
