Jets Fire Todd Bowles
6 years agoThe New York Jets fired head coach Todd Bowles on Sunday following their blowout Week 17 loss to the Patriots after his fourth season with the team. Bowles finishes with a 24-40 record in his time with Gang Green after going 10-6 in his first year in 2015. The Jets will be overhauling their coaching staff in the offseason and also have roughly $106 million in salary cap space, so they will be looking to add plenty of weapons around quarterback Sam Darnold. Darnold, the No. 3 overall pick, had his ups and downs in his rookie year but should be able to improve with better weapons around him.
