5 years agoThe New York Jets are cutting kicker Kaare Vedvik and are expected to sign free-agent kicker Sam Ficken, according to a source. Vedvik failed in his audition in Week 1 against the Bills, missing his only field-goal attempt and his only extra-point try in the one-point loss to Buffalo. In just four games the last two seasons with the Rams, Ficken made just half of his six field-goal attempts and 14 of his 15 extra points.
