6 years agoOakland Athletics general manager David Forst said that pitching prospect Jesus Luzardo will be moved to Triple-A Nashville after his start for Double-A on Tuesday. However, it's doubtful that Luzardo will reach the majors in 2018. The left-hander is the No. 12 prospect in all of baseball, per MLB.com, and he has dominated at High-A Stockton and Double-A Midland this year with a 9-4 record, 2.14 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 109 strikeouts in 88 1/3 innings over 18 starts. He could be a candidate to crack the starting rotation out of spring training next year. You should already know his name in dynasty/keeper leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
