4 years agoOakland Athletics left-handed hurler Jesus Luzardo will start Game 1 of the wild-card series against the White Sox on Tuesday. The White Sox were a perfect 14-0 against left-handed starters this year. The 22-year-old Luzardo had a 4.12 ERA with 59 strikeouts in 59 innings during the regular season, and he's ready for the challenge. Chicago also had the best slugging percentage (.523) in the league against southpaws and ranked second with an .887 OPS. As a result, the nasty Luzardo will be a high-risk/high-reward DFS commodity for the first round of American League playoff games on Tuesday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
