5 years agoOakland Athletics pitching prospects Jesus Luzardo (shoulder) and A.J. Puk (elbow) will both make rehab outings for High-A Stockton on Tuesday. The left-handers are ranked as the team's No. 1 and 2 prospects, respectively, while Luzardo is baseball's No. 2-ranked left-handed pitcher and Puk comes in at No. 4. Both of them have high long-term ceilings at the major league level and should be in the A's rotation for years to come. Both of them could also be pitching in Oakland's rotation in the second half of the season, but they'll likely come with workload restrictions as the A's handle them with care. Both Luzardo and Puk should be stashed in dynasty leagues and will have relevance in mixed leagues if they're making starts in 2019 in the majors.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
