5 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds placed outfielder Jesse Winker (neck) on the 10-day injured list on Thursday with a cervical strain. Cincy also reinstated starting pitcher Tyler Mahle (hamstring) from the injured list and optioned him to Triple-A Louisville. Winker last played a full game on Aug. 13. It's unknown how much time he'll miss, but he's running out of time in the regular season to make an impact for his owners in deep mixed leagues. The 26-year-old has run hot and cold all year and is hitting .269/.357/.473 with 16 homers, 51 runs and 38 RBI.
