Jerry Jones Optimistic About Dak Prescott
5 years agoDallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones showed some optimism on the status of quarterback Dak Prescott (shoulder) for Week 16 in the important meeting with the Eagles. "I’m totally convinced he’ll be in top form. We need him in top form and he will be in top form," Jones said. Prescott should be active, but he may not be 100 percent, which will make him a little more volatile as a midrange QB1 in championship week. The 26-year-old was 21-for-27 for only 239 yards, one touchdown and a pick in the first meeting against Philly. The Eagles secondary is definitely beatable, but Dallas could choose to lean more on Ezekiel Elliott if Prescott isn't at full strength.
