Jeremy Jeffress Gives Up Homer In Rehab Outing
6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress (shoulder) allowed two hits (one homer) and two earned runs while walking none and striking out one in 1 1/3 innings with Triple-A San Antonio on Friday night. He threw 18 of his 25 pitches for strikes in the outing. It was the right-hander's first minor league rehab outing, and he'll likely need a handful more before he makes his season debut with Milwaukee. Jeffress was an All-Star last year and recorded 15 saves for Milwaukee. He's a candidate to see a good amount of save chances now that Corey Knebel (elbow) is done for the season.
