6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers relief pitcher Jeremy Jeffress (shoulder) is pitching every three days and will do so again on Saturday. General manager David Stearns said that Jeffress is a couple of weeks away from a return. Even though Jeffress is starting the season on the injured list, he just got a little more intriguing for those speculating on saves after it was announced on Friday that Corey Knebel (elbow) will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery. Josh Hader, who had a save on Opening Day, is the favorite for saves right now, but Jeffress could put his name into the ring once he returns.
