Jeremy Hellickson Will Be Placed On DL
6 years agoWashington Nationals manager Dave Martinez said starting pitcher Jeremy Hellickson's (wrist) MRI exam on his right wrist showed a "bad sprain." Hellickson will land on the disabled list. The veteran hurler might only have to miss a start or two. He's been a streaming option in deeper leagues with his 3.57 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 64 strikeouts in 88 1/3 inning across 18 starts. The good news is that the Nats might be getting Stephen Strasburg (neck) back early next week.
