Jerami Grant Scores Season-High 35 Points In Wednesday's Win
3 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant answered to a five-point dud with a season-high 35 points in Wednesday's 112-104 win over the Rockets, shooting 12-for-23 from the field and 4-for-8 from outside. He hit seven of his nine free throws and managed to collect five rebounds with three assists, two blocks and one turnover in 35 minutes. Grant had a huge year in 2020-21, but he hasn't yet hit the same heights this term, although there have been signs of improvement lately. The 27-year-old had a pair of 20-point outings last week before settling for just five points on Friday against Brooklyn. He's averaging 18.7 points per game for the season ahead of a back-to-back set against Cleveland and Toronto. These are two slow-paced teams, so it will be difficult for Grant to repeat his Wednesday's performance.
