Jerami Grant Picks Up His First Double-Double Of The Year
3 years agoDetroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant had a chance to celebrate his first double-double of the season on Friday, finishing a 107-96 loss to the Clippers with a team-high 20 points and 10 rebounds. He also posted three assists with one turnover in 33 minutes, shooting 5-for-16 from the field and 9-for-9 at the line. If it wasn't for free throws, this would've been another disappointing offensive performance by Grant, whose game seems to have come completely unstuck since he had a breakout year in 2020-21. The 27-year-old pops up with a nice scoring performance here and there, but he's shooting barely over 40 percent from the field for the season and that's been a major contributor to his downfall.
