5 years agoSan Francisco 49ers exclusive-rights free-agent running back Jeff Wilson Jr. signed his one-year tender offer on Monday. Wilson had no outside negotiating rights, however, so it was never in question that he was signing his deal. The 24-year-old contributed 105 rushing yards on 27 carries (3.9 yards per tote) and four touchdowns in 2019, while adding only three receptions for 34 yards and another score. In one of the most crowded backfields in all of the NFL, Wilson is a long shot to return any fantasy value in 2020 unless injuries open up playing time for him. It would help if Matt Breida is traded, but there's also Raheem Mostert, Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon in the fold.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
