6 years agoSan Francisco Giants manager Bruce Bochy said starting pitcher Jeff Samardzija (shoulder) is "doubtful" to return this year. Samardzija had a second opinion on Wednesday, which confirmed he needs more rest. The Shark was only able to make 10 starts in 2018, going 1-5 with an ugly 6.25 ERA, 1.63 WHIP and 6.0 K/9. For obvious reasons, he won't be high on anyone's list heading into spring drafts next season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
