Jeff McNeil, Juan Lagares Out Against Lefty
6 years agoNew York Mets third baseman/outfielder Jeff McNeil and outfielder Juan Lagares are not in the starting lineup on Saturday. J.D. Davis will play third base and bat cleanup, while Keon Broxton is in center field and is hitting eighth against Nationals left-hander Patrick Corbin. Davis is just 3-for-20 (.150) on the season and hasn't done much at all in his 72 career big league games, but he presents sleeper status in DFS in the cleanup spot against the southpaw. Broxton has three hits in his six at-bats this year to go with two steals. He's an intriguing low-priced option on Saturday, but his upside is limited at the bottom of the order.
