5 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil (hamstring) is coming off the injured list on Saturday. Outfielder Aaron Altherr is being designated for assignment in a corresponding move. McNeil isn't listed in the starting lineup on Saturday, but we'd expect him to be back in there on Sunday. The 27-year-old has done nothing but hit since coming up to the majors last year and is slashing .332/.400/.529 with 15 home runs, 67 runs, 55 RBI and four stolen bases in 2019. Get him back into all lineups when he returns to the Mets lineup. His return could be bad news for J.D. Davis in left field and/or Joe Panik at the keystone.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
