6 years agoNew York Mets infielder/outfielder Jeff McNeil has a "banged up" knee and is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday, but he's available to pinch hit. J.D. Davis will earn the start at the hot corner and will hit fifth in the lineup against Marlins starting pitcher Trevor Richards. The 25-year-old Davis has hit .196 with five homers in 70 career MLB games and is off to a 3-for-14 start (.214) on the season. You can find much better daily options than Davis on Wednesday. McNeil's injury doesn't seem serious at all, so he should be back in the lineup soon.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
