Jedrick Wills Drawing Comparisons To Jason Peters
5 years agoCleveland Browns rookie offensive tackle Jedrick Wills, the 10th overall pick in the draft and the second of four offensive tackles to come off the board within the first 13 picks, will shift over to the left side to protect quarterback Baker Mayfield's blind side immediately. He'll have left guard Joel Bitonio, who was selected to each of the last two Pro Bowls, at his side to help ease the transition to the NFL. Wills has drawn comparisons to nine-time Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters. Cleveland's offensive line was a mess in 2019, contributing to Mayfield's disappointing season. If the Browns can shore up their protection, Mayfield and the entire offense could have a huge bounce-back year.
