6 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko (calf) has joined the team and said he will be ready to come off the injured list on Thursday for the team's home opener. Gyorko has some pop in his lumber still but will be mostly a utility infielder for the Red Birds, limiting his appeal in mixed leagues. He's not a bad bat to have for depth purposes as a corner infielder in NL-only leagues, though.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
