5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals infielder Jedd Gyorko's (back, calf, wrist) wrist isn't responding well and he is still healing from a calf injury. The Cardinals are a month away from re-evaluating what his timeline looks like, and Gyorko won't disagree that it might be hard to see him returning before Sept. 1. It basically equates to a lost season for the veteran 30-year-old. Gyorko was also hitting just .196/.274/.304 with two homers, five runs, seven RBI and two steals in 56 at-bats before his injuries, so you can pretty much keep forgetting about him in fantasy for the rest of 2019.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
