5 years agoNew York Mets manager Mickey Callaway said that third baseman Jed Lowrie (hamstring, knee) is a ways away from a return. Lowrie has yet to make his season debut in his first year in New York, and it's fair to wonder at this point if he'll even make it back before the All-Star break. Those that spent a draft pick on him have to be sorely disappointed. Whenever he does make his season debut, he might be fighting for playing time with the likes of Jeff McNeil, J.D. Davis and Todd Frazier. Those in mixed leagues can leave him to the waiver wire.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
