6 years agoNew York Mets manager Mickey Callaway said that third baseman Jed Lowrie (knee) could join the Mets as soon as Friday. Lowrie has yet to play for the Mets in his first season, but that could change as early as this weekend. The 2018 All-Star should see regular playing time, but he'll need to play well to hold off Todd Frazier and J.D. Davis at the hot corner. After already missing the first month of the season, don't expect the 35-year-old veteran to come anywhere close to his numbers a year ago (.23 home runs, 99 RBI), but he should still be valuable in deep mixed leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
