6 years agoThe Philadelphia Phillies don't expect shortstop Jean Segura (hamstring) to go on the injured list, but he will not play on Wednesday against the Mets. Segura suffered a mild hamstring strain running the bases Tuesday night. Scott Kingery is starting at short on Wednesday and is hitting second against Mets starter Zack Wheeler. Kingery has been hot of late and is an excellent DFS play. Segura has 22 hits in his first 67 at-bats (.328) with a homer and 10 RBI in an excellent Phillies lineup. He should be a great source of counting stats and a high average all season long.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
