6 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Jean Segura left the game early on Tuesday night with a mild left hamstring strain. Segura apparently hurt himself running the bases. He had a double and a run scored in his two plate appearances before leaving and is batting .328 with a homer, five doubles and 10 RBI on the season. He's a solid source of batting average and counting stats in all fantasy leagues, so losing him for any amount of time would hurt. If he's forced to miss considerable time, Scott Kingery would likely see most of the starts at the 6 and would be worth a pickup in deep mixed leagues for middle infield help.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
