Jazz Chisholm Jr. To Make Center Field Debut Sunday
2 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder/second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. said he will most likely make his first start in center field in a Grapefruit League game on Sunday against the St. Louis Cardinals. After adding Jean Segura and Luis Arraez this offseason, Chisholm is expected to shift to center field in 2023 after previously serving as the team's regular second baseman. The 25-year-old will have both second base and outfield eligibility this year, but he should be considered a top-five fantasy second baseman. Chisholm was on pace for a huge year in 2022, but he ultimately was limited to 60 games due to back and knee injuries. He was on pace for a potential 30-30 season, so it's easy to see why he's a very attractive power/speed option at the keystone for fantasy managers.
