Jazz Chisholm Jr. Out With Arm Cramps Sunday
2 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman/outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (arm) has been scratched from the team's Grapefruit League lineup on Sunday as a precaution due to cramping in his right arm. He's working out with the team. It's the second straight day that he'll be out of the lineup, but it's obviously not viewed as a very serious issue, so Chisholm should be ready to go on Opening Day on Thursday, March 30, against the division-rival New York Mets. The 25-year-old played in only 60 games in 2022 due to a stress fracture in his back and a torn meniscus, but before those injuries, he was on pace for a breakout season. Chisholm still has 30-30 potential for the Fish and fantasy managers, and he'll also be adding outfield eligibility in 2023.
