Jazz Chisholm Jr. Not Playing Sunday
2 years agoMiami Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. is not in the starting lineup on Sunday against the San Francisco Giants. Chisholm has been pretty strong this year, but he's gone 2-for-26 with one homer, four RBI and three stolen bases in eight games over the last 14 days to drop his season slash line to .253/.311/.513 with an .825 OPS, eight home runs, four triples, seven doubles, 31 RBI, 24 runs scored and nine stolen bases in 41 games played. The 24-year-old could use a day off, but he's been a must-start in fantasy this year despite his recent cold stretch. Jon Berti is starting at second base and is hitting leadoff against Giants right-hander Jakob Junis on Sunday. Berti doesn't have much power, but he's hitting .286 with an .869 OPS in 85 plate appearances for the Fish this year.
