Jazz Chisholm Jr. Moving To Center Field
2 years agoThe Miami Marlins will move second baseman Jazz Chisholm Jr. to center field this year, according to general manager Kim Ng. Chisholm has played exclusively as a second baseman and shortstop during his major-league career, but All-Star second baseman Luis Arraez will now take over after being acquired from the Minnesota Twins on Friday, with Jean Segura manning third base. Instead of moving to shortstop, the 24-year-old Chisholm will gain outfield eligibility for fantasy managers in 2023, in addition to second base. It will make him even more attractive in fantasy after an All-Star season in 2022 that saw him hit .254/.325/.535 with a career-high .860 OPS, 14 home runs, 45 RBI, 39 runs scored and 12 stolen bases in just 60 games played due to injury.
