Jazz Chisholm Jr. Does Baseball Activities
1 year agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. (oblique) completed a full on-field workout and did running and outfield drills on Friday, July 28. Chisholm exited the team's series finale against the Atlanta Braves on July 2 with a left-oblique strain after he struck out in the sixth inning and has been on the shelf ever since. The 25-year-old oft-injured outfielder is making progress and could embark on a minor-league rehab assignment in short order, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back until early August. Chisholm's power/speed combination makes him worth rostering in all fantasy formats despite his inability to stay healthy. He'll eventually return to a .246/.302/.443 slash line with nine home runs, 21 RBI, 14 stolen bases and 20 runs scored in only 167 at-bats.
